Michael Hutner has over 23 years of experience in the fintech and hedge fund industry. He is a seasoned executive and angel investor with a passion for innovation and growth. He has a proven track record of leading and scaling global businesses, driving revenue and profitability, and building high-performance teams and cultures.

As the former CEO/GM at Eze Software, a unit of SS&C Technologies, Michael oversaw over 1,100 people across multiple product lines, serving over 2,500 clients globally including asset managers, hedge funds and sell side banks. He was responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction of the business, as well as the integration with SS&C’s broader portfolio. Under his leadership, Eze Software achieved renewed growth, expanded its market share, and launched new products and services. He also leveraged his experience to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and regulators in the industry. When he started the NY office, they were at $7 million in annual revenue and 30 people in total. When Michael departed the firm as the head of the organization, they were over $330 million in annual revenue and had more than 1,100 people across 12 offices spanning the globe. Over his 23-year career at Eze Software, he helped the firm achieve multiple ownership structures with 2 private equity firms and one public company.

Currently, Michael is a Member at New York Angels, one of the most engaging angel groups in the world. He is excited to support and mentor early-stage startups in the fintech and AI domains, as well as other sectors that have the potential to disrupt and transform the world.

Prior to his fintech career, Michael worked at PwC in the Financial Advisory Services practice. He is a graduate of Boston College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.
